Refund policy

How refunds work. Updated October 12, 2026.

How refunds work

Mistero VPN subscriptions are bought inside the iOS app through the App Store, and every payment is processed by Apple. That means refunds are decided and issued by Apple — we can't refund an App Store charge ourselves.

How to request a refund

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Choose Request a refund and pick a reason.
  3. Select the Mistero VPN charge and submit. Apple usually answers within 48 hours and returns the money to the payment method on your Apple ID.

If you get stuck, email [email protected] and we'll help you through it — but the decision and the money are Apple's.

Avoiding unwanted renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically. To stop the next renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before your period ends in Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Mistero VPN. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for — see how to cancel.

Disputes and chargebacks

If a charge looks wrong, request a refund from Apple or email us before disputing it with your bank — a refund is faster than a chargeback investigation, which can take weeks.

Where this fits legally

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Consumers in some jurisdictions (e.g. the EU's 14-day withdrawal right) may have statutory rights that go beyond this policy; nothing here limits them. For anything unclear: [email protected].
